Visual Studio 2005 Express

Microsoft has released beta 2 of their Visual Studio 2005 Express products. This includes Visual Web Developer Express, Visual C# Express, Visual Basic .NET Express, Visual J# Express, Visual C++ Express and SQL Server 2005 Express.

I've only used the Visual C# express beta 1, but was quite impressed with the IDE. For those of you interested in .NET, you might want to check it out.

Well, I'll probably not use the Visual Web Developer either, as I don't do much ASP.NET at home and can't use anything not approved by Uncle Sam at work, but I will try out Visual C# Express at home and let you know what I think. Maybe I'll post something I develop with it for download, who knows.

By the name of the produce I would think they at least had it originally planned to be released this year. Although I imagine it'll take commercial hosts some time to upgrade to ASP.NET 2.0 and framework 2.0.
