Richard Pryor

As you all probably know, Richard Pryor died today at the age of 65. I remember growing up watching many great movies and SNL skits that would not have been possible without Mr. Pryor. He was one of the greatest commedians to ever entertain us, and even though he's been retired due to health for quite some time, will be sorely missed. There will never be another Richard Pryor.

My prayers are with his family, and to him my gratitude for bringing me laughter so many times.

Rugby, anyone?

Have any of you watched rugby much? I've recently been watching USA Sevens Rugby on TV, and if you're a fan of football, you just might enjoy this. It's a very fast paced game (especially Sevens, which I found out differs from regular rugby in that it is played with 7 players per team, rather than 14 or 15, and a game lasts less than half an hour) and the rules are similar and even simpler than football, so it's easy to catch on. The best game I've watched so far was US Eagles agains Korea. We won, but it was "on the buzzer". Great game.

So, if you find yourself with no football on TV, maybe you could catch one of these games. I think it's fun and look forward to finding some real, non-sevens games to watch.
